I am Mamun Akand, a passionate computer scientist with expertise in cryptography, information security and privacy. Originally from Bangladesh, I have pursued my post graduation journey in Canada, obtaining both a PhD and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Calgary in Alberta.

Throughout my academic career, I have focused my research on the fascinating realm of cryptography, delving into the intricate world of securing information and protecting user privacy. My aim is to develop innovative solutions that address the challenges faced in today's digital landscape, where data security and confidentiality are paramount.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I have an ardent personal interest in epic fantasy books. As an avid reader, I find solace and inspiration in works like the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patric Rothfuss and the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson.
